We are excited to show you how Jeuveau works, and help you determine if it will meet your aesthetic goals. When it is determined that you would like to receive Jeaveau injectable treatment, we will schedule you for an appointment.
We will inject the medication amongst your frown lines to stop the natural muscle contractions that form them. Jeuveau is very similar to Botox in that it relaxes the muscles it is injected into. This will help smooth out any current frown lines you have while also preventing new ones from forming.
After you receive the initial treatment, you should experience little to no downtime. Dr. Patel will advise you on any aftercare, if necessary. You may experience some inflammation or tenderness around the injection site, though this should go away on its own. You can look forward to seeing improvement in your frown lines as early as 2-3 days after treatment, with full results typically showing up around 7-10 days.
It’s important to note that this improvement is temporary, and will slowly fade away as the medication wears off. Each patient reacts to Jeuveau differently depending on the severity of their frown lines. Patients will typically see improvement for 3-6 months following the initial treatment.
You are free to schedule another Jeuveau appointment to receive another injection of Jeuveau and experience the enhanced beauty all over again.

Jeuveau is a botulinum toxin and is used primarily in the treatment of wrinkles. It has also been referred to as the new “Botox” for short because it has the same active ingredient used in original Botox injections, just in a new version.
are key characteristics that make this injection stand apart from other botulinum toxin injections, although Jeuveau shares similarities with Botox. Jeuveau is offered at a slightly more affordable price and is a better fit for certain types of facial wrinkles compared to Botox. When choosing injectables, there are many considerations to make.
Your provider will outline a plan during your consultation that they will implement during your session and the procedure typically includes the following:
• Your clinician will wipe off any makeup or other cosmetics covering the area of treatment.
Next, using several small injections, they will inject Jeuveau into five sites around your frown lines.
• The process takes up to 15 minutes. You’re free to leave once the injections are completed and there is zero downtime.
• Your underlying muscles will relax as the botulinum toxin takes hold and create a smoother appearance in your frown lines.
Botox: An onabotulinumtoxinA injection that is FDA-approved to temporarily treat moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s-feet, and forehead lines.
Whom it’s best for: Botox works very well in the creases between the eyebrows, in the crow’s feet, in the bunny lines on the sides of the nose, and forehead lines. While Botox works well in any place it’s approved for use, some people with low eyebrows can see their eyebrows drop lower if horizontal forehead lines are treated with any neurotoxin. Sometimes you must leave these lines alone. Your dermatologist will help guide you.
Dysport: An abobotulinumtoxinA injectable to smooth the frown lines between the eyebrows. Results show up within 2 to 3 days but can similarly take up to a week.
Whom it’s best for: Some professionals have moved away from using Botox as they prefer to use Dysport. It lasts 4 months, allowing clients to visit the office 3 times per year.
There’s a financial advantage, too. If fewer appointments throughout the year are needed, the result is that it costs less. That can yield better results because clients are more comfortable coming in on a routine basis.
Jeuveau: A prabotulinumtoxinA neurotoxin injectable is new to the market, having been given FDA approval for the treatment of glabellar lines. It’s the same particle size as Botox, which is considered the gold standard for efficacy.
Whom it’s best for: The client who’s interested in trying a new injectable. When it comes to any of these neurotoxins, clients strongly believe one or the other is better for them. Some believe one works more quickly, is more effective, or lasts longer than another. It’s a matter of personal preference.
Jeuveau is very similar to Botox, and Dysport (which are a proprietary type of neuromodulator). All these medications are derived from the same bacteria and work similarly to improve the appearance of lines and creases on the face, by relaxing the muscles into which they are injected.
According to studies, Jeuveau lasts several months and boasts high client satisfaction even at 5 months. Most clients will have anywhere from 3 to 6 months of clinical longevity.
Clients can see an improvement in lines and creases as early as 2-3 days. Most neuromodulator medication takes up to 7-10 days to show 100% of the treatment result.
