Silhouette Lift is a natural facelift technique that uses Silhouette Sutures, a new suspension suture. Silhouette Sutures are made of a biocompatible material called polypropylene. For decades, polyproylene sutures have been used in cardio vascular and opthalmic surgery.

The Silhouette Lift Procedure
One of the greatest advantages of the Silhouette Face Lift procedure is that it is performed in the comfort of our office, under local anesthesia. The Silhouette Lift takes place in five stages:
Insertion – Deployment – Anchoring – Suspension – Fixation
First, the threads are inserted through a micro-incision just above the hairline. The sutures are passed through with a special micro needle and are anchored into the temporal region producing a lift or a suspension. Finally, the threads are fixed into place.

Most patients see immediate and noticeable results from the Silhouette Facelift procedure. Typically, patients resume normal activities within two days of having the non surgical face lift and have fully recovered in two weeks.
Because of the unique Silhouette Sutures, the Silhouette Lift procedure is very long lasting. Since there is no way to permanently stop the aging process, you may need to maintain your thread lift. In a quick, 20 minute procedure, the Silhouette Sutures can be retightened if needed.
