What Is Selphyl?
Using the Selphyl System, our physicians can produce platelet rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) from the patients own blood. Platelet rich plasma stimulates collagen production and cell proliferation, increasing volume and improving the appearance and texture of skin.
Many patients choose Selphyl for a liquid facelift because it uses their own body’s blood to rejuvenate the face rather than introduce foreign or chemical substances. About The Selphyl Procedure
The Selphyl procedure is relatively simple procedure completed in the comfort of our office in less than a half hour. First, the physician will draw a small amount of blood, which is then placed into a patented centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelets and fibrin into a matrix. The resulting PRFM can be injected into the face or body to restore volume and promote skin rejuvenation.
